Shahid Afridi injured against Karachi Kings

Shahid Afridi is injured and walking out of the ground. Big blow for the Peshawar team here. This was a shot hit with a lot of pace and Afridi was really late in reacting to it. The ball hit his hand and put a big cut on it. Afridi took his way out here.

Peshawar Zalmi are in motion here. There have taken wickets and they are bowling really well. They might have gotten Afridi injured but still they are ruling the game here. This is some excellent performance here from the Peshawar side.

Sammy bowled this one pretty wide and yet Pollard went after it. The ball hit the middle of his big bat and even this one beat Afridi in the field. Clearly Afridi was not thinking that this hit will come at a rapid pace at him. He was late and he now pays for it.

The seam has made a cut on his hand here. Definitely there was no need to stay on the ground longer. Afridi goes and Peshawar Zalmi will now miss him. At the moment the game is evenly poised here. Anyone can win here. The Peshawar Zalmi fans look a bit tense. Pollard is the dangerous man here for the Zalmi. They will want him to get out early before he takes away the game from them.

Shahid Afridi has injured himself here. The Peshawar Zalmi all-rounder was trying to take a stinger form the big man Pollard and missed it. Afridi was not expecting the ball to come with this pace at him. He was late in reacting to this one.

The shot was hit like a rocket. The ball was hit from the middle here from Pollard and we all know how much power he puts behind his shots. This one was catchable but Afridi reacted late and the ball out a cut on his right hand. He is now out of the ground here.

With Afridi injured and out Peshawar Zalmi might have to change their bowling line up as well. This is not a good news for them. They want Afridi to bowl his overs because he is one of their leading bowlers. This will not help the Zalmis here.

The shot well this was a stinger by all means. Afridi is really good in the field and is a swift mover and yet this one even beat him. One can imagine the speed on this ball here as it beat Afridi in the field. Now the Zalmis might have to give his overs to someone else.

May be Sammy himself will bowl more overs. But at this moment this game is certainly signaling to be another close one. At the moment Pollard is at the crease and we all know what he can do with the bat. He is one of those players who can make or break a game. So the Peshawar would be hoping to take him out before he walks away with the game.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
