Hasan Ali is a young prospect for Pakistan pace bowling line up. He is a superb bowler who has done well since he has arrived in the cricket fields. Hasan was the bowler who gave Pakistan a moment to comeback in the game lese the West Indies were looking dangerous.
Hasan picked up three wickets in the middle period for Pakistan. One came as a run out solely made by him. Rest two were bowled outs. These three wickets put the pressure back on the West Indies and they failed to come out of it and score some huge runs at the end.
The first wicket was of Jason Mohammad. The right arm was given an inswinger here. Now Hasan was getting a good decent inswing but he was not finding the right mark. He was bowling in that channel but the ball was not bowled in the right area from him.
In this over Hasan kept the ball reversing towards Jason. He kept his line and length outside the off stump but was not getting that perfect ball. At the start he was bowling within the stumps and the ball was hitting the pads of the batter here.
Now Hasan was not been able to get anything from this line and length. The ball was moving down the leg side and hence there was no way the umpire could have given Jason lbw here. Hasan bowled a few outside the off stump and the reverse was defended from the bat.
Now on the last ball of the over Hasan finally managed to get that perfect ball. This was pitched on the off stump and from there Hasan reversed it back towards the batsman. The ball missed everything and hit the middle stump and took it down on the ground.
This was the first of the three wickets Hasan provided in two overs in the middle phase of the West Indian batting. This put Pakistan on top of the West Indies in the first innings. Samuels was bowled on another big inswinger. There is no doubt that Hasan Ali is an excellent bowler. With the passage of time if he kept on working hard he would definitely become a good decent fast bowler. He has the skillset and talent to become one. the reverse swing he generated yesterday made him a lethal bowler in the ending stages of the game.
Pakistan won the fourth and final T20 yesterday against West Indies. With this win the tourists also took the series as well. West Indies had their chances but at the end Pakistan emerged as the tough team between the two. It was a great game of cricket.
Sarfraz Ahmed the Pakistani skipper won the toss and elected to bowl first. Sarfraz went with his strength which is chasing. He had no time no experiments as this was the final game of the series and the decider as well. West could have only leveled the series if they had won the final t20.
The hosts did get a good first half. They did not lose too many wickets and also they smashed some good number of boundaries. At that point it was looking as if West Indies will repeat their third t20 performance in which they totally dominated over Pakistan.
When the cup was handed over to the Pakistan team, Hasan Ali immediately took it from his captain and he was seen sitting right in front of the winning board with the cup placed to his left. Wahab Riaz and another player then asked him to give the cup to them.
Hasan has to give the cup to the senior players. But no emotions given from the pacer as it was a moment of celebrations and enjoyment for him and for his side. They won the series against West Indies and they all wanted to celebrate the win.
This was a good series for Pakistan. The best thing is that they now have done practice for the ODI series starting from 7th of this month. That will be a crucial contest for the Pakistan side. They need to win the series in order to keep their hopes alive for the world cup.
