Virat Kohli controversial Dismissal 2nd test

Indian skipper Virat Kohli fell for a low score again and this time his lbw out has created a controversy. There was bat involved as per Kohli. He was very quick to take the review when the umpire gave him lbw out against Hazelwood.

The ball hit him in line with the stumps. It was looking out in normal motion. The third umpire take a lot of time to see this and eventually he gave it out as well. As per the third umpire he did not find any conclusive evidence to change the original decision.

The wicket played its part again here. We saw the ball keeping very low yesterday when Sharma got the wicket of Marsh. Today almost the same thing happened here as well. The ball did not go that low here but still it was low. The wicket is getting poor day by day.

Kohli was late but was he really that late is a question which is boggling the minds of the Indian fans and even Kohli himself. The ball hit the pads and though the bowler made a halfhearted appeal the umpire raised his finger here. Kohli in the very next second went for a review.

Now Kohli did hit the bat on the ball. But before it hit the pads is the issue here. The third umpire had a long look at this one and there is no tight that this was a tight one. Eventually the decision was given against Kohli.

Virat Kohli’s lbw out against Australia in the second innings of the second test has created a controversy. There is a debate going on as some of the fans feel that the ball did hit the bat first but then there are other who are against this narration.

Kohli was adjourned lbw by the on field umpire. The ball hit his pads and as far as the line and impact of the ball are concerned, they both were spot on. Kohli was instant to take the review. The third umpire did not find a conclusive evidence to overturn the decision.

This was a very-very close case. It could have gone on both sides. The only thing favoring Kohli was that he took a very quick review and that gave the impression that he had nicked the ball. The appeal from the bowler was not a conclusive one.

The wicket keeper and slip fielders made a huge call and as a result the umpire raised his finger. Kohli went for a review immediately. He was sure that he hit the ball with the bat before it hit his pads. Now that was something which the third umpire had to look at.

After collecting a lot of data and watching the replays again and again the third umpire did not find anything that could save Kohli here. This was given out by the third umpire as well. Kohli left the field in frustration and agony. He could not believe that he was given out.

He used to hit the ball hard on the pitch and generate bounce with pace. This used to make him really difficult to play. This game was played between Pakistan and India on an Indian ground. Shoaib hit the ball in the ribcage of Sourav Ganguly and made him lie flat on the wicket. Ganguly was taken out of the ground and into the hospital. Later it was revealed that he got a few ribs broken and he remained out of international cricket for some time. This was a pretty dangerous ball from Shoaib. On a flat wicket he was able to make the ball bounce up. The ball went straight towards the body of the batter. Ganguly was never good in playing short balls which used to come in towards his body.
