Misbah answers question about West Indies tour

Those who want to know whether Misbah Ul Haq will be in West Indies with the Pakistan team or not will have to wait for some more time. The test captain of the Pakistan team
has not answered this question fully last night when Rameez inquired from him.

Islamabad United played their last match of the second edition of the PSL and they were defeated by the Karachi Kings. The Islamabad side looked absolutely aimless. They had a fantastic first half but then their batting looked terrible in the second innings.

Misbah and his men had to chase 128 runs and believe it the outfield was wet with dew and the ball was all wet to be even gripped. Still with all this the Islamabad side who had to bat lost. Mostly teams chase mega scores with these conditions applied.

Misbah in the post-match interview admitted that the batting failure from his side caused them the game and the chance to move further in the knockout stage. Karachi Kings played really well and Misbah gave them all the credit.

As for his own position Misbah is not even sure whether he will be a part of the Pakistan team for the West Indies tour or not. When Rameez asked Misbah about this question the answer was lets see at the moment nothing is finalized. This means that fans should get ready for anything even Misbah hanging his boots from test cricket.

Islamabad United lost the first knock out of the Pakistan super league last night. They were the defending champions but at the same time they were not looking like one last night. They played poor cricket against Karachi Kings and captain Misbah owned that.

In the post-match interview Misbah said that his side really played poor cricket in the second half especially. They were able to take down Karachi Kings for under 130 runs which in T20 cricket is not even an average total.

The worst part is that there was a heavy dew present in the second innings when Misbah and his men were chasing the target. The Karachi bowlers were bowling with a wet ball and hence the chances were that Islamabad would take this one with all the ease but they did not.

Misbah said that they were really poor in the batting and as a result they are out of the event now. Rameez then asked Misbah if he is going to West Indies as the leader of the Pakistan test side. The reply from Misbah made people scratch their heads. Yes he is not sure.

Misbah said that let’s see what happens. This means that he is not certain about his presence in the West Indies. This also means that Sarfraz might get a new job in hand as the new leader of the Pakistan test team. Now with Misbah out of the team as there are chances present this might not come well for the Pakistan cricket.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
