Maxwell gets bat broken on first ball of day’s play

Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell had to face a funny moment when Indian pacer Yadav smashed his bat into two pieces. The interesting part is that it was the first ball of the day and Maxwell was purely defensive in his shot. The ball hit the bat and broke it down.


Yadav had a smile on his face seeing the bat going down into two pieces. He gave a funny gesture to Maxwell as well which was thoroughly enjoyed by the Australian batter. In test cricket such thing has never happened before. The opening ball gave a good fun package to everyone.
