Fans gets Viv Richards on camera

The Quetta Gladiators mentor Sir Viv Richards is one of those names who have a massive respect level in Pakistan. He being the mentor of the Quetta side has given his team a lot of inspiration and experience. The West Indian great was recently asked to become the coach of Pakistan team in PSL.

This happened in the Dubai cricket stadium where Viv was making his way towards the dressing room and some Pakistani fans asked him to become the next coach of Pakistan cricket team. Viv was all smiles and then he politely answered the request saying ok.

The fans are desperate to see Pakistan getting back to the top position in all three formats. But at the same time the problem is that they are not producing world class material. PSL has completed two seasons and we have not seen a world class player emerging.

There were a few names taken from the first edition and when they came to international cricket they remained a flop show. Now even in this season a few young kids looked impressive but they are still to be tested in international cricket. The other important factor is the role of coach. Pakistani fans believe the coach does all the things which is wrong. The players do all the things inside the ground. Coach only manages matters outside the cricketing field. The other issue is the lack to foreign tours. Pakistan mostly plays in UAE and as a result their batting and bowling techniques have rattled.

The Pakistani fans surely love the Quetta Gladiators mentor Sir Viv Richards. In the PSL a few fans got his attention when he was heading back to the dressing room. They asked Viv to become the coach of Pakistan cricket team. Viv answer was ok.

We all know this is not going to happen at the moment and even it does the standard of Pakistan team will not alter much in terms of performances. The Pakistan team is lacking behind in lot of things against the other international teams.

Now there is one thing which needs to be understood here. There will be no overnight change seen in Pakistan team even if Viv becomes their coach. This is not the way things happen in cricket. You have to go through a long process to become a good side.

The quality of the players matters a lot. It might hurt many but at the same time it is a blatant fact that the quality of players in Pakistan is going down and down. We have not seen much world class players emerging from this team in the past five to seven years. This is the reason their overall game has been affected and their performance graph is going down day by day. The other teams are far ahead of the Pakistan team. There are many reasons for this downfall of Pakistan team. if these reasons are cater only then Pakistan can become a world class team again.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
