Emerging Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan makes it to CPL

JAMAICA: Emerging Pakistani all-rounder Shadab Khan who impressed many with his performance in the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) got rewarded after he was picked by a Caribbean Premier League (CPL) franchise.


Trinbago Knight Riders announced it has picked Shadab Khan at $30, 000 slot in the CPL Draft 2017.

“Our first pick at the 2017 #CPLDraft at $30,000 slot is from Pakistan Shadab Khan. Welcome Knight to the #TKR family!,” a tweet by the franchise said.

“We are really happy to have Shadab Khan in our team. Looking forward to see him in action,” it added.

Shadab Khan, who played for Islamabad United in the PSL, bagged 09 wickets and also made contributions with the bat.

He has also been invited by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to a training camp ahead of West Indies tour.
