Wasim Akram tells what is special in PSL

Pakistan blind cricket team has made a huge record and made the Pakistani nation proud today. The blind cricket team hit 373 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in a pool game against West Indies. Pakistan has not lost any game in the event so far.

This was a massive innings from Pakistan. They derailed the West Indian bowling attack. There were a lot of sixes and fours hit to all parts of the park. The batting from Pakistan was excellent. They made sure that they play with the best intent and they gather the runs with it as well.

In news Wasim Akram has said that he is very much hopeful that PSL second edition will be even a bigger hit than the opening edition. He said that everything is streamlined in the league and that is a major difference. He said that a lot of international players are taking interest in fact they want to play in this league because of this one major reason.

He said that the franchise pays the 40% of the total amount before the league starts and 60% after the event ends. He said that in other leagues money is an issue and we have seen in the past that the players did made a lot of complaints about their dues not being released by the franchises. The Pakistan blind cricket team is enjoying their world cup campaign in Indian these days. The team is winning matches one after the other and now they have a world record to their names as well. Pakistan today hit 373 runs against West Indies which is the highest score in the format for the blinds. In fact this is the highest ever team score hit by any team in any part of the world in this format. The blinds cricket team from Pakistan was on a roll. They hit a series of boundaries and the West Indian side looked absolutely helpless against the Pakistanis.

Now let us come to PSL which will be starting in a few days. Wasim Akram was taken on the camera and the Islamabad United director and somewhat coach was pretty much happy and satisfied with the proceedings of the event for the second edition.

Wasim Akram said that all the matters are very much managed in this league. There is no fuss about the money transfer and that is something which attracts the players. In the other leagues we have seen that players are not fully happy with the money transfers. They are mostly complaining about it all the time. He said that here there is no such case. The money is transferred to the accounts as per the agreement and players are satisfied with it.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
