Wasim Akram talks about Misbah retirement

Wasim Akram is not changing his stance on Misbah and his retirement. Wasim in the past said in a program that he would have left Pakistan team and taken retirement had he been in Misbah’s position after the recent Australia series.

Wasim said this again that he said if he had been but he is not. It is Misbah and his decision. There is no doubt that Misbah is fit and can play cricket but for how long is something which he knows and he should answer. Wasim talked about the right thing here.

Wasim Akram said that this is something which he still stands with. He would have retired as Pakistan captain after the Australian tour. It was a failure. But at the same time Misbah is the one who should decide about his future here.

Wasim said that if Misbah thinks he is fit and can play then he should. He said that he has no issues with Misbah and his fitness. He is one of the fittest tool in the team and this is something which should not be a problem to anyone. His retirement is a decision which should rest with him and no one should interfere in this matter.

Wasim Akram has said in the past that if he was in place of Misbah then he would have taken his retirement after Pakistan lost pretty badly to Australia. Misbah on the other hand will give it a thought after the PSL. At the moment he has not thought about it.

Wasim Akram and Misbah both were sitting in front of each other when a media person asked this question to Wasim. He asked that Wasim has said this in the past and now how will he respond. Wasim said that he said that if he had been in Misbah’s position. He is not. It is Misbah who has to make a decision here.

As per Wasim, he knows the importance of Misbah in the side. But at the same time every player needs to take a leave at some point. Wasim himself was the back bone of Pakistan bowling but he had to take his retirement. He left the game after 2003 world cup.

Wasim Akram said that Misbah is fit and there is no doubt in it. He is the fittest and remember Pakistan team has many younger players than him. But he is the fittest as compared to them. This is what matters as well. The game play is which Misbah needs to think on. Wasim is definitely not in the favor of someone coming and outing Misbah out. He wants Misbah to decide about it and we all know that the time is near when Misbah will leave the Pakistan test team.

Top 5 moments of PSL 2017 so far

Pakistan Super League's second edition is well under its way and has given us some memorable moments already. Here's a compilation of the top five unforgettable moments so far: 1. Brendon McCullum’s captaincy in low-scoring thriller against Zalmi (watch video at the end) February 12, 2017 will go down in the history of cricket as the night when fans witnessed a low-scoring thriller at its most incredible. Lahore Qalandars’ batting imploded against Zalmi, as the team got all out for 59 – the lowest ever total in PSL and the second-lowest in Pakistan’s entire domestic cricket records. But what happened next was unreal. The Qalandars, guided by Brendon McCullum’s brilliant and aggressive captainship, fall just three wickets short in pulling off probably the most incredible win in the game’s history. The match got as intense as Zalmi lost one wicket after another; it wasn’t for the weak-hearted to watch. 2. What a catch..But what a selfie! (watch video and Photo at the end) Pes...
