Viv Richards praises Imran Khan

The former West Indian master blaster Vivian Richards is a great cricketer. In his playing days he was the worst nightmare for the bowlers. He was one of those openers who used to come in and bash the ball hard and long all the time.
Viv Richards when first met Imran he tried to play mind games with Imran. Viv gave Imran a long stare and in return he himself got one long cold stare from the Pakistani all-rounder. As per Viv he that moment knew Imran was going to make it big in cricket.

There are not many cricket fans who know that Imran Khan was used to call as Immi in his playing days. Those who were close to him or his friends they tend to call him Immi and not Imran. Richards even called Imran as Immi in this interview.

Richards and Imran were good friends. They were fearsome competitors within the ground but off the field they were close. This is that reason Richards knows a lot about Imran and his style of play. Not only this but Richards know Imran well as a person and has always praised him.

Wasim Akram played a lot of cricket with Imran and he always took him as his elder brother. Those who played cricket with Imran, for them Imran will always be there captain. This is the persona Imran had. Even now nothing has changed. People are still crazy about Imran Khan.

Viv Richards is a great fan of former Pakistani skipper Imran Khan. He in his interview said that Imran was a real fighter. He used to stay tall all the time despite being getting a lot of beating. He was this kind of a character in cricket. Richards said that Imran has given cricket a lot.

He said that the first time he saw Imran, he stared at him and in return Imran kept on staring at him. That moment Richards said that he realized that Imran is special. He is not going to give up. He will fight for the game and there is every chance he winning it as well.

Richards called Imran Khan with his nick name from the playing days which is Immi. Imran Khan has always been called with this name. Many of the former Pakistani players who played with Imran used to call him skipper and even now he is skipper to them.

For Richards he is Immi as Richards is a close friend to Imran. They played a lot of cricket against each other and they were a treat to watch in the ground. The rest of the squad was always behind somewhere. It was used to be Imran Khan bowling and Vivian Richards batting. The fight on the pitch has always been marked as one of the classical ones from the cricket. Imran Khan still holds the same persona. He is a fighter and they always fight.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
