Umar Akmal fifty against Islamabad United

Umar Akmal did not score much in the PSL second edition until the game against Islamabad United a few days back. In this game he scored a fifty and ensure that his side wins the game. It was not easy but Umar Akmal did show his talent here finally.
Umar Akmal scored a match winning fifty. He anchored the Lahore innings in the middle part of the game. He made sure that he scores the runs as also does not let his wicket fall away. He eventually got out after scoring a well-crafted 54.

Umar Akmal played a very quality innings, his first good one in the second edition of the PSL against Islamabad United. This innings came at the right time as Lahore Qalandars were struggling against the Islamabad side and there was a chance that they might lose the game as well.

Umar scored a fifty in the match. This is his first fifty in this second edition of the PSL. He has not scored much so far except for this innings. Umar Akmal played well and gave a lot of cushion to his side. His innings and then the Elliot blitz made the chase possible for Lahore.
