Shane Watson long sixer in PSL 2017

(Watch video at the end of the post)

Shane Watson hit one of the biggest sixes in PSL a few moments ago. It was a monster of a six and that ball went outside the
ground for that matter. Watson picked up this slower ball perfectly and made sure that this one did not lands inside the ground.

Perrera made the wrong call by hitting a slower ball. Watson picked it up the moment Perrera left the ball. He waited for it and then landed it onto the roof and beyond. This is the biggest hit we have seen for tonight and also in the match.

This was the first ball which Perrera was bowling to the Aussies batter. He should have gone for a much fuller delivery. Watson had this in his mind that Perrera bowls slower ball hence he was ready here. The ball he saw the ball being a slower one Watson went after it.

Islamabad United batsman Shane Watson hit the ball out of the park today. This was the first six in Sharjah for the game that went out of the stadium. This was hit right from the screws. Watson son gave it everything here. The ball went a long way.

This was a slower ball from Perrera and Watson picked it up straight away. He waited for it and then made sure that the ball lands out of the ground. It was a mega hit from the Islamabad United batsman. Watson is certainly looking in a good form.

Watson batted really well in the middle. When he came to bat it was that stage of the game when his side Islamabad United was under pressure a bit. They needed a good partnership between Watson and already settled Billings. The way Watson played took the pressure of Billings as well.

Watson hit some really lovely shots. This was the best of them all. He read the slow ball very early and this enabled Watson to get underneath the ball and whacked it over the leg side for a huge six. The ball went to the rooftop first and then even went beyond it.

Islamabad United are looking good in this second edition of the PSL as well. They are the defending champions and they playing good aggressive cricket here as well. Despite being jolted by the spot fixing case still this side is trying their best to coup with the pressure and play quality cricket.

Islamabad United have played well in this game so far. They bowled well first. They made sure that they do not let the Quetta Gladiators side take much runs in the first innings. The fielding was good as well. In the batting they were given a good momentum by Billings at the start. Then it was Watson who took care of the things right at the end. Islamabad has won a good game of cricket here and they are making their position strong in the PSL second edition.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
