Shahid Afridi unveiling the champians trophy

Shahid Afridi has been given another big honor and this time he was seen unveiling the Champions trophy here in Dubai. The all-rounder was present there in the ceremony
and he was asked to unveil the trophy. This is another huge moment for the Pakistani all-rounder.

Afridi was looking pretty happy and fresh. His side Peshawar Zalmi are in a bit of bother in the PSL but Afridi looked a lot relaxed. The event will be played in the near future. Afridi and his team will be playing their next game on 23rd and they are hopeful for a win.

The PSL games are getting tighter and tighter and except for the first few rest all of them were absolutely thrilling cricket. In fact most of the games were decided in the last over. This is the beauty of cricket and reason that Ravi Bopara called it the toughest T20 league in cricket.

The Peshawar Zalmi are losing close games in the event. They had some good wins at the start but then they could not hold on to the momentum and started losing some close games against other sides. Now they have two games left and if they win both then they will be in the playoffs. This year the competition is really tight and all the teams are still in the contest. There can be any four teams landing in the playoffs. All the five teams are in the contention for that at the moment.

Shahid Afridi was given another big honor by the ICC as he was selected for the unveiling of the Champions trophy here in Dubai. The former skipper of Pakistan was present with the official sponsors of the event Nissan company.

Afridi is currently a part of the Pakistan super league. He is playing for the Peshawar Zalmi side. The all-rounder was very much happy with the respect he was given. The trophy will be played in the near future and Pakistan will be a part of it as well.

For Pakistan this is a huge honor. Afridi has his own stamp of the game. He is a special type of player and it has always been a pleasure to see him in the ground representing the green shirt. Afridi and his side though are in a both of trouble in the PSL at the moment.

They have lost the previous few games in a close manner and hence they need to win their last two to ensure that they are in the playoffs. At the moment there is no side out of the race for the playoffs. There are some really close being played in the event so far.

The first few games were one sided but after that we have seen of the best and tense cricket in the remaining games so far. This is the beauty of this league and we have seen that there are many things which are making this league a very special thing in the world of cricket.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
