Shahid Afridi is not going against the legendary Imran Khan. In his recent interview when he was asked that Imran Khan is not in favor of PSL final to be played in Lahore. Afridi said that Imran Khan can
say whatever he likes. He is a senior man and we should listen to him.
He said that Imran Khan knows things better. As far as Shahid Afridi is concerned he wants the people to know that he is happy that the final is played in Lahore. It is a great news for the Pakistani fans. They were hoping for this and now this is becoming reality.
Shahid Afridi said that there will be a huge crowd present for the final and his advice to the PCB would be make sure there is plenty of sitting arrangements in the Lahore cricket stadium. There is no doubt that Afridi is right about here.
However Imran Khan and Javed Miandad are not in the favor of this. These two legends of the game have another perspective. As per Imran the whole league should have been played in Pakistan. He said that there is no logic behind hosting only the final. He said that there is a big risk and hence hosting final is not a good decision. He said that one should think on this side as well. Javed Miandad has backed Imran Khan saying that the security risk should have been kept in mind before making this decision.
Shahid Afridi is happy that the final of the PSL will be played in Lahore. As per the Peshawar Zalmi all-rounder he was happy and satisfied that the final of the PSL would be played in Lahore. He said that this cannot get any better than this.
As for the view Imran Khan had, Afridi said that Imran Khan has his own perspective and he sees things from another angle which he should be allowed to do so. He said that for him it was really a good thing that PSL final would be played in Lahore.
