Shahid Afridi hits one over the rooftop

There was entertainment expected in the first playoff of the PSL and so far there has been plenty of given by the Quetta batsman Ahmad Shahzad and Kevin Pietersen. These two have taken the attack
on the Peshawar Zalmi bowlers and they are hitting the ball really well.

Peshawar Zalmi bowlers have lost their line and length to the sudden attack of Ahmad and KP. This is some high quality t20 batting we are talking about from the Quetta batters. These two have dispatched the ball to all parts of the park so far.

After the Quetta team posted 200 runs on the score card it had to be someone from the Peshawar Zalmi to chase this huge total. First it was Hafeez and Malan. The two hit fifties and they were some brisk ones. They made sure that they get Zalmi back in the run chase.

Peshawar Zalmi was then given the momentum at the end from Shahid Afridi. When he was at the crease the Peshawar Zalmi was cruising towards the target. It was a great game of cricket and both these sides played really well. Afridi hit the ball long and hard as he always does. One of his shots made the ball land on the roof and then it stayed there. The best part is that this hit came against the best bowler from Quetta side Tymal Mills. It was a monster hit from Afridi.

Quetta gladiators are off to a flying start here in the first playoff of the PSL. The likes of Ahmad Shahzad and Kevin Pietersen are taking on the Peshawar Zalmi bowler. Sammy must be thinking about his decision to bowl first on this great batting pitch.

Quetta is going with a run rate of ten runs per over. Despite the Peshawar Zalmi picking up the wicket of Wright still the Quetta batters are hitting the ball like they are playing against club cricketers. This is stunning batting from Ahmad Shahzad and Kevin Pietersen.

This was another intense game of cricket. The PSL matches in the end have successfully made the people leave their seats. This has happened in almost all the games. There is hardly a game which did become a one sided affair. There were all some real nail biters.

Shahid Afridi once again today showed his power. He was seen taking on the Quetta bowlers and he hit some massive shots. He was the one who brought the Zalmi very close to the finish line. He did not even spare Mills this time. This hit came against mills.

Shahid Afridi was given length ball outside the off stump by Mills and he just hit the ball clean as a whistle. The ball hit the middle of the bat and went out of course. This was a stunning piece of timing from Afridi. He lashed onto the ball and in no time he was able to hit it over the roof top at long off.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
