Mohammad Amir ballistic fifty, amazing hitting

Mohammad Amir reached to his second ODI fifty in the third game of the Pakistan England series. Pakistan was chasing a total of 445 and it was Amir who provided the entertainment to the Pakistani fans in the batting. He hit some delightful shots.

Amir definitely was in a bashing mood when he came out. He hit the pacers but the way he attacked the spinners was the main thing in his batting. He hit most of his boundaries against the spinners. He smoked them to all parts of the park and got a lot of runs as well.

The first hit for Amir was a four over long on. The field was up. Adil gave him a flight ball and Amir just hammered it on the leg side. Amir can bat and in the past we have seen that he can hit the ball really well. Here he once again proved his batting abilities.

Amir then hit first six after this boundary. Another big lofty ball from Adil and this time Amir connected his bat to the ball really well. The bat made a cracking sound and the ball went over the fence for a huge six. The next one was on the off side. It was an excellent drive which Amir played of the back foot. Amir here showed that he could hit the ball really well. It was a sensational shot.

In the last tour Pakistan made to England they lost the ODI series but in one of the games, Mohammad Amir was able to get his second ODI fifty. Amir hit his 50 in the same game in which England made a record total of 445 against Pakistan.

Amir batted beautifully. He was hitting the ball hard and almost all of his shots came from the middle of his bat. He played the spinners really well and most of his boundaries came against them. Amir was in a red hot form with the bat that day.

Amir when came to the crease he was tested with a flight ball which Amir accepted with a four. The ball in his zone and Amir played it like a typical tail ender. There was not much foot movement and he just clear the infield and the ball went to the boundary line.

The next hit was a six from Amir as this time he launched Adil over the leg side. Amir attacked Adil a lot. He even hit shots on his googly which is not that easy. Amir was in a smooth run with the bat. His shots on both on and off side were showing that he meant business. The next one was drilled through the covers. Another fantastic shot from Amir. He reached his fifty later.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
