Lahore Qalandars wins a thriller against Islamabad

Another cracking game of cricket here has just ended. In the past few days we have seen that PSL is getting thrilling more and more with each passing day. We have seen some of the most exciting games so far and
this one was certainly of the same league.

Islamabad United met the Lahore Qalandars and the game was decided in the final over. It was an exceptional play from both these sides. The ending overs from the Islamabad United were good. They bowled with some good line and length.

The final over was bowled by Sami and he did get the ninth wicket on the very first ball of the over. It was short and steaming in and Amir was not ready for it. The ball hit the edge of the bat and went straight up and was taken by Smith.

At that point it looked it would be Islamabad. But as the ball went in the air Elliot crossed and he was the one facing the next ball. Eliot we all know can hit the ball hard and Sami presented him with a gifted ball. It was a half-volley and Elliot smacked Sami out of the park. This was a gigantic hit and the celebrations from Elliot were just too good. The Lahore team was out and they were all celebrating. Misbah was not happy with his bowler.

The PSL is making a habit of giving thrillers and nail biters every day. On a regular basis now we are seeing the games doing don to the final over of the match. Some of them were even decided on the final ball. This makes this league super exciting. Definitely PSL is much better now.

The Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars match today went into the final over as well. Both the teams give in a lot of fight and the crowd was give some thrilling moments. This is another classic for the audience as no one was sure who is going to win this one.

Lahore needed six runs in the final over. They had two wickets in hand and Sami got Amir out on the first ball. It was a bouncer well directed and Amir edged it into the hands of the fielder Smith on the leg side. Elliot did cross his partner when the ball was up in the air.

Now Sami was facing Elliot. The Kiwi batter is known for his big hits and we have seen a lot of times that Elliot somehow finishes tight games with some big hits. This is exactly what happened here. Sami gave him the ball and Elliot whacked him out of the park. This was a huge hit. It was absolutely brilliant one from Elliot. The celebration from him showed that he was the champion at the end. Misbah was not too pleased with his bowler but there was nothing much he could do about it after that six. The game ended with Lahore.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
