Imran Tahir brilliant bowling against New Zealand

South African leg spinner registered his best figures in T20 format today as he raptured the New Zealand batting line. The spinner derailed the New Zealand picking up important wickets from their middle order and then the tail.
The New Zealand side was never in competition once Imran took the ball. The spinner was getting a good bounce from the wicket and he utilized it perfectly. Imran was named the man of the match for his brilliant bowling performance. This was the only T20 game of the series.

Imran Tahir was the immediate bowling change for South Africa when it comes to spinners. He is their leading spinner across all three formats and Imran has proved his worth with time to time. He has been taking wickets at a regular interval in across three formats.

Imran Tahir picked up wickets from the middle order and the tail of the New Zealand batting line. The ball was spinning and bouncing for the leg spinner. He bowled with an attacking line and length and that was the main thing which New Zealand side did not counter well enough.

They played Imran the wrong way. They tried to attack the leggy without reading him well enough in the center. The rash shots one after the other gave Imran the opportunities to hit back at the home side. New Zealand have a good track record at Auckland but for today it was New Zealand who could not finish off the game. South Africa took the only T20 game of the series.

Imran instantly was given the ball after the change of pacers. The Auckland wicket gave him a lot of help in the form of spin and bounce. Imran bowled some great balls and that too regularly and that resulted in the five wicket haul he captured today.

The New Zealand batters played him not that well. They were trying to attack him without knowing much about the spin and bounce. Imran bowled cleverly in that middle period. The leg spinner was the main effort with which the South Africans were able to nail down the New Zealand side. The only T20 game of the series now goes to South Africa and this is a great start for them in the series. New Zealand will to really play well to break this momentum now. Against Sri Lanka we saw the same momentum carrying on with the South African team.

Great catches by Wahab Riaz and Babar Azam against Australia

After Pakistan's woeful fielding in the fourth ODI I in Sydney, they wanted to start well in Adelaide. Alas, the first ball of the match, David Warner r edged an out swinger from Mohammad Amir and at second slip, Azhar Ali hurled out his left hand but couldn't make the ball stick. It was a tough chance, but a costly one. Warner went on to make 179, his career-best knock in ODIs. Warner was dropped again, though by this time he already had 130. And this time it was a sitter. Warner skied the ball off Hasan Ali and Amir, running in from long-on, positioned himself perfectly under the ball, only to have it spill straight through his fingers. It was less costly than Azhar's miss, although Warner still added almost 50 more runs from that point. Straight after Amir's blunder, the TV cameras cut to Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur and fielding mentor Steve Rixon. Heads were in hands, faces were long, and no words were being spoken. The fifth and final ODI of the series between Pa...
