Another funny incident of Abdul Razzaq

Wasim Akram shared one of the funniest incidents about none other than the man himself Abdul Razzaq. This incident will tell you how much Razzaq used to love eating. He has been known as one of the simplest men who played for Pakistan in international cricket.

Razzaq came late on the night of the double wicket final and Wasim was his partner. Razzaq arrived half an hour late to the ground. There was a packed stadium and they were all waiting for the match to start. Wasim said the reason Razzaq gave for being late was absolutely hilarious.

Wasim narrated the incident that Razzaq was his partner in the double wicket tournament. On the night of the finals against Shoaib Malik and Imran Nazir, Razzaq did not show up in time. They made calls to him and he did not pick up the phone.

The match was to be started at 8 and because of Razzaq half an hour break was taken Razzaq then showed up being late. Wasim asked him the reason for being late and Razzaq said that he was having dinner. Some special food was cooked and he hence got late. Wasim said that he could not believe first what Razzaq said but then he enjoyed his reasoning. Wasim said that there is no doubt that Razzaq was and is a very much simple soul.
