Ali Zafar has released the official anthem for PSL2

Ali Zafar has released the official anthem for the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL2), which is all set to begin from February 9, 2017. The anthem, titled ‘Ab Khel Jamay Ga’ is Ali Zafar’s second.

consecutive foray into PSL. The song was out early this year but the official music video of the song has recently been revealed by the Pakistani singer.

The tune is catchy and enhances the spirit of an upcoming tournament. The fun track also features Pakistan’s iconic players Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Umar Gul, Ahmed Shahzad and Rameez Raja.

The PSL Twitter account had earlier also released a little teaser, showing us the ‘Rockstar’ singer working on the track. He also sang the official theme song ‘Ab Khel Kay Dikha’ for the inaugural edition of PSL last year.

In an interview with ecb.co.uk, the Sussex and England man reflected on a whirlwind few days in Pakistan, and his decision to play a match many overseas players turned down. “It was pretty surreal! Obviously from making the decision to go, we were well briefed and everything was well documented about how everything was going to run from the time we left on the plane from Dubai to the time we got back.” said Jordan. “As soon as we landed in Lahore, we were met by military guys, escorted straight onto a bus and had a 10-minute drive to the hotel with a full escort. The road was cordoned off and no-one was on the streets – it was a bit unreal!” ...
